HAPPY HOLIDAYING - PLAN AHEAD
If you’re planning an overseas holiday this summer don’t forget to plan well ahead. Here’s 3 top tips from those who have been away this Easter!
Medication: give yourself plenty of time to get your medications and check what you are able to take into the country you are visiting. Certain medications are banned in some countries.
Travel information & Travel Vaccs: make sure you know what you need! Fill out a travel form (available online or at receptions) with us, at least 2 months ahead of travelling. One of our team will then arrange for you to be seen. Check our Travel Health pages for details.
Covid Pass: if you need a Covid Pass (proof of Covid vaccinations) to travel, NHSApp will provide this or call 119 for a printed version. Young people, aged 12-18 will also need a Covid Pass for certain countries. For information go to: COVID PASS Under 18
Give yourself plenty of time to get this done, as it can be complicated, especially for under 16s, who may need to be seen by us first.
Happy holidaying!
NHS APP
We'd like to encourage our patients to download and use the NHSApp. Available 24/7 from the comfort of your own home to: book appointments, check medical records, order prescriptions, check symptoms and lots more. It's an essential! For more info and to download go to: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/
FACE COVERINGS
We continue to ask all our patients and staff to wear face coverings (unless medically exempt), and socially distance when coming into the buildings. Please use the hang gel available if you wish. Thank you for your co-operation in this. We want to keep all our patients and staff as safe as possible. This policy is being applied across all healthcare settings.
