Online Services
Stratton Docs offers a range of online services to make managing healthcare more convenient. Patients can access these services through the NHS App or by registering for online access at the surgery.
These services are now available on the new Stratton Docs website.
Prescriptions
Patients with online access can order repeat prescriptions through the NHS App or the patient portal. Prescriptions are typically processed within two to four working days and can be collected from the on-site pharmacy or a nominated pharmacy in Bude. For clinical safety reasons, the practice is unable to accept repeat prescription requests by telephone.
Appointments
Appointments can be booked, viewed or cancelled through the NHS App or by contacting the surgery during opening hours. The practice offers a range of appointment types including face-to-face consultations, telephone appointments and online consultations.
Patient Record
Registered patients can view parts of their medical record online, including test results, medications and any correspondence. To register for online access, patients should speak to a member of the reception team who will provide a registration form and login details.
The NHS App
The NHS App provides a simple way to access a range of NHS services from a smartphone or tablet. Patients are encouraged to download and use the NHS App for managing their healthcare needs. For a detailed guide on getting started, see the practice news article on making the most of the NHS App. The app is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing patients to book appointments, order prescriptions, check symptoms and access their health records from home.
Online Consultation
The surgery offers an online consultation service for patients who need medical advice but do not necessarily require a face-to-face appointment. Through this service, patients can submit their symptoms or queries and receive a response from a clinician. This service is accessible through the new website.
